For those who still feel
Born in Toronto of Caribbean heritage, Raz Hyder is a singer-songwriter, producer, and cultural curator. Blending hip-hop, acoustic, and pop music with raw emotion and honesty – his music feels like a confession and hits like an anthem – built for both stadiums and soul-searching late nights.
With over 14 years of relentless dedication behind him, Raz has become known for turning every performance into an immersive experience—pulling audiences into shared moments of truth, vulnerability, and connection. The result: sold-out rooms, standing ovations, and a growing movement across Canada and beyond.
After turning down multiple graduate programs and moving to Germany on a one-way ticket to chase his calling, Raz has amassed over 550,000 streams and views, earned major opening slots for Hasan Minhaj, Mustafa, Mo Amer, Brother Ali, and Tone Trump, and collaborated with legends including NARCY, Yusuf / Cat Stevens, and Isam B of Outlandish.
In 2023, he won the International Songwriting Competition for his breakout single "Gave You Everything". In 2024, he released his debut album The Life of Hearts, produced by Polaris Music Prize & JUNO Award-winner Taabu and took it across the country on an independently funded 14-city national tour. The project features his biggest song to date, "Imagine" now in international radio rotation.
Raz’s work is more than music — it’s a movement built on faith, grit, and the fearless pursuit of purpose.
